Iran's foreign minister stressed Tehran's readiness to respond to any hostile action of the Israeli regime.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, commented on various regional issues in an interview with Qatari media on Thursday.

Araghchi, who has traveled to Doha, in a conversation with Al Jazeera in response to the threats of the Israeli regime, emphasized, "Although we are not looking for the escalation of tension, we are ready for any scenario, the Israelis can test our resolve."

Araghchi further said: "We will see how the attack will be, and based on that, we will determine how to respond, which we will carefully examine."

The Islamic Republic of Iran in response to the assassination of the martyr "Ismail Haniyeh" the head of the political office of Hamas and the violation of its sovereignty by the Israeli regime, as well as the crimes of the Zionist regime in the assassination of the martyr Seyd Hassan Nasrallah the secretary general of Hezbollah in Lebanon and General Abbas Nilfroushan, a senior officer at the Islami Revolutionary Guards Corps bombarded Israeli military and intelligence bases.

 

The resistance front can respond to Israel 

 

Furthermore, Araghchi stated that "Israel is looking for a large-scale war and pushing some countries into this war", and said: "Iran is not the only one that does not seek a large-scale war, but everyone is aware of how disastrous this war would be."

Iran's top diplomat emphasized that "the resistance is capable of responding to the Zionist regime, and Netanyahu did not achieve his goal in the Gaza war, which is to destroy Hamas, and soon he will face the same situation in Lebanon."

Emphasizing Iran's support for the resistance, the Iranian Foreign Minister said: "Our support will never be limited to political and diplomatic ones; Tehran will do whatever is necessary for them. We did not stop supporting the resistance even for a single day, and I announced in Beirut that Iran would never give up the resistance."

 

Diplomatic channels with the US open in some countries

 

Iran's top diplomat also announced that he had conducted "consultations on how to establish a ceasefire and stop the massacre of innocent civilians, and destruction."

Regarding his recent trip to Saudi Arabia and Qatar, he also said that the major countries of the region can play a role in reducing the tension that has arisen. Saudi Arabia and Qatar both play a significant role in the region. We are conducting consultations with them to stop the ongoing war in Palestine and Lebanon.

Iran's Foreign Minister also said that diplomatic channels with the US government are open via some countries and views are exchanged indirectly.

Earlier Araghchi reaffirmed Iran’s unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the broader Resistance movement. “Iran has always stood by the Resistance, and it will continue to do so with full strength,” he declared, adding that the successful execution of recent operations underscored the country’s commitment to defending Palestine and responding to any aggression. 219
