Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and Finnish President Sauli Niinisto met and talked at the Finnish President's official residence M?ntyniemi in Helsinki on Monday.

Iran Press/Europe: Finnish President office announced that the two sides have discussed the Comprehensive Joint Plan of Action (JCPOA), maritime security in the Persian Gulf and also issues related to human rights.

Zarif’s visit comes as the first of his three-nation tour, as he will depart Finland for Norway followed by Sweden.

Zarif arrived in Helsinki early on Monday to hold high-level talks with senior Finnish officials on a host of bilateral relations, international and regional issues, JCPOA, Instrument in Support of Trade Exchanges (INSTEX) and Finland’s presidency of the Council of the European Union. 207/211/218
