Iran export from South Pars Gas Field increased

Iran’s export of gas condensate from the South Pars gas field in the Persian Gulf, has seen a 23 percent increase in May and June of this year, compared to the same period last year.

Iran Press/Iran news: Despite US sanctions, the export of gas condensate from South Pars in June 2019 increased 23 percent by weight and 2 percent by value compared to the same period last year .

According to Iran Press, export of gas condensate from South Pars Gas Field in the Persian Gulf has shot up by 23 percent in June 2019, compared with similar period last year. 

Senior Iranian official in economic affairs said: "Export of gas condensate from South Pars has been valued at $ 706 million in June."

South Pars is the world’s largest gas field covering an area of 9,700 square kilometres, and is the energy hub of Iran, and also the most important centre for export of gas condensate. 101/211/216
