Tehran (IP) - A number of Nigerian students participated in Tehran's Quds day demonstrations and rallies on Friday 31 May, showing their support for the Palestinian people and stressing that America is afraid of developments in the Muslim World.

Iran Press/Iran newsOne of the Nigerian students who took part in the International Quds Day rally on Friday, in an interview with Iran Press said:  "The International Quds Day as declared by Imam Khomeini (may his soul rest in peace) in 1979 is a universal day for all Muslims in the first instance.

"He added: "Going by the humanitarian ground of the issue, it is for all humanity. So, we expect everybody to express their solidarity with the Palestinians and other oppressed peoples of the world."

He said: "We believe that America and its allies are very afraid of the developments in the Muslim world and other fields of humanitarian endeavour, because they understand that as people continue to understand their operations against humanity, so the people are aligning towards Iran for justice, so this is why they are very afraid of Iran and they are ganging up to fight against Iran, and increase Iranophobia across the world."

The Nigerian student added: "We believe the deal of century cannot be implemented. We as Muslims and other followers of the religions believe that God is for justice." 211/213
