Iranian foreign minister met with the commanders of the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) in Tehran.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mohammad Javad Zarif also talked to IRGC Commander Major General Mohammad Ali Jafari and other commanders.

Seyyed Abbas Araghchi, Morteza Sarmadi, deputies of foreign minister and the top commander of the elite IRGC Quds Force, Major General Ghasem Soleimani, were attended at the meeting, Iran Press reported.

The meeting was held after US President Donald Trump designated Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) as a terrorist organization on Monday 8 April 2019.

Iran’s most senior military body vows to “spare no effort” in fighting the “terrorist” American forces operating in West Asia, a day after.

Also on Tuesday, the IRGC’s chief commander Mohammad Ali Jafari said the Corps will grow stronger now that the US has taken such a move.

“We announce decisively that the Corps will, by God’s grace, grow stronger in its defensive and offensive system over the next year,” he asserted. 101/202
