2 killed, 3 wounded in tensions between Indian and Pakistani forces

Border clashes between Indian and Pakistani forces have resulted in the killing of two Pakistani civilians and injury of three others.

Iran Press/Asia: Pakistan's Army announced in a statement on Tuesday that the tensions were high in 'Nekron' border area.

India and Pakistan signed a ceasefire agreement on the disputed border area of Kashmir in 2003, but since then the truce has been violated, Iran Press reported.

Kashmir is one of the significant issues of dispute between India and Pakistan, a region which both countries claim.

The long-running dispute is still not resolved, while the UN Security Council resolution emphasises holding a plebiscite to determine the status of the region.
