Iran's head of the Persian academy called the Persian language as the Golden Key to the ancient historical treasury.

Iran Press/Iran news: The President of Academy of Persian Language and Literature, Gholam Ali Haddad-Adel said in an exclusive interview with Iran Press news agency that one of the most important roles of language is to provide the possibility of communication with other people and nations as well as other generations who have lived in the past time so that one could know more about their thoughts and what they had in their minds.

Iran's top scientific figure called for having contact with other people and to make them understand what one thinks.

Haddad-Adel also called the Persian language as 'the golden key' to know more about the treasury dating back to a thousand years ago and as the achievements of the past scholars all across the world including those who have been living in Pakistan, India and the Indian Subcontinent which have been written in the Persian language.

"The Persian language is our identity and it is like a vessel contains our culture, it is a mirror in which we can see culture and we should be careful not to break it. We are known in the world by our language, literature, and by our poets," Stressed Haddad-Adel.

The top academic figure concluded that after the victory of the Islamic Revolution of Iran, the Persian language has been used for communicating new ideas of the nation.

Haddad-Adel 's remarks came on the sidelines of Safeguarding Persian language ceremony which was held in 'Martyrs of Radio' building in IRIB (Islamic Republic of Iran's Broadcasting).

The event was attended by Gholamali Haddad Adel, the head of Iranian Academy of the Arts Alireza Esma'ili and Tajikistan and Afghanistan envoys.

Earlier on Monday night (May 20), the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei expressed his worries about the Persian language fading procedure.
