The Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement has targeted Ashkelon in the occupied territories with its new Badr 3 missile which can carry a payload of 250kg of explosives.

Iran Press/Middle East: Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement for the first time used the new 'Badr3' missile to hit the city of Ashkelon in the Occupied Lands.

Used by 'Al Quds Brigade', 'Badr3 is equipped with a 250 Kg (551 lb) conventional warhead, RT reported.

The 'Al Quds Brigade' after successful firing of the missile, announced to Zionist regime that "what is coming next, will be even greater."

As a result of recent firing of hundreds of missiles from Gaza, four Israelis were killed in Ashkelon.

According to Zionist media, a total of 136 people were injured and treated at Ashkelon’s Barzilai Medical Center, including 64 who were suffering shock.

At Soroka Medical Center in Be’er Sheva, a total of 70 casualties were treated since the start of the conflict, including 36 who were treated for shock, and two Zionist soldiers who were injured in a mortar attack by Hamas.

Tensions erupted in Gaza on Friday following the killing of four Palestinians, two in an Israeli air raid on southern Gaza and two during the regime’s use of live fire against unarmed peaceful anti-occupation protesters near a fence separating the blockaded coastal enclave from the occupied territories.

The Tel Aviv regime says about 600 rockets have been fired at the occupied lands over the past few days. The Israeli army says its warplanes have targeted some 180 sites in the Gaza Strip.

On Monday Morning, the Israeli regime accepted an Egyptian and UN-mediated ceasefire agreement as its airstrikes against the besieged Gaza Strip, martyred at least 25 Palestinians. 101/211/205
