Portuguese citizens in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, demonstrated against the killing of a black citizen by the police of this country.

Iran PressEurope: The Portuguese protesters, holding the flags of the "Vida Movement", a non-governmental organization that pursues the rights of immigrants, demanded the implementation of justice in Portugal.
The Portuguese authorities, justifying the shooting of the black man by the police, have said that the police officers had to shoot in self-defense against the armed attack of this man.
According to eyewitnesses, the police in Lisbon treated the defendant inappropriately, and human rights groups also believe that the police are targeting black people.
In recent days, the Portuguese police have registered more than 100 cases of public unrest in Lisbon.
According to local media reports, during these protests, more than 200 people were arrested and seven people were injured.
