Iran Press/ Europe: According to a report by Iran Press News Agency from London, anti-war protesters in London began their demonstration a few moments ago in front of the Prime Minister's office, Parliament, and the UK Foreign Office, chanting slogans such as "End the genocide," "Keep your hands off Lebanon," and "Do not attack Iran."
Pro-peace organizations in the UK have announced that this anti-war demonstration is the 21st national demonstration in the UK since October 7 last year, and the demonstrators are calling for an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, an end to Israel's genocide in Palestine, Israel's withdrawal from Lebanon, and Israel's incitement to war in the region.
Thus, since about a year ago, when the new round of Israeli genocide began in Palestine and then expanded to attacks against Syria, Yemen, Lebanon, and Iran, a national demonstration against the Israeli regime has been held in London almost every two weeks, but the British government, like the US, has tried to ignore these demonstrations.
Representatives of several pro-Palestinian and peace organizations in the UK, including "Stop the War", "Palestine Solidarity Campaign", "Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament", "Friends of Al-Aqsa", and the "National Associations of Students and Teachers in the UK", as well as many members of the British Parliament, will speak at the demonstration, along with Muslim speakers.
