Sana'a (IP) – Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen's Ansarullah movement, stated today (Thursday, October 24, 2024) that the assassination of resistance leaders will not advance the enemy's ambitions of dominating the region.

Iran Press/West Asia: In a televised speech, al-Houthi expressed his heartfelt condolences to the family of Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, as well as to Hezbollah, the people of Lebanon, and the broader Islamic world, following Safieddine's martyrdom.

Martyrdom Strengthens the Roots of Islamic Resistance

Al-Houthi emphasized that Israel, the criminal enemy, aims to break the spirit of the Islamic Ummah, its fighters, and its people by targeting leaders of the resistance. However, he stated that these acts of aggression only strengthen the resistance.

"The Zionist enemy fails to grasp the lessons of history," said al-Houthi, adding that this lack of understanding fuels Israel's ongoing crimes and attacks against resistance leaders.

Al-Houthi concluded by noting that the enemy’s hopes of achieving dominance over the Islamic Ummah through these targeted killings are nothing but an illusion—a mirage.

"The steadfastness and unity of our brothers in Lebanon and Gaza have deeply shocked the enemy and its collaborators," he remarked.
