Iran Press/West Asia: According to the newspaper, the incident took place in the early hours of Sunday when Israeli fighter jets flew up to the Iranian plane and demanded it turn around. The Iranian plane reportedly did this a short while later.
The newspaper noted that this was not the first time when the Israeli military forced Iranian planes suspected of ferrying arms to Hezbollah to make U-turns over Syria or Iraq.
