Iran Press/ Iran news: Mirza Taghi Khan Farahani, nicknamed Amir Kabir, is the most brilliant chancellor in the history of Iran whose career with the rule of Qajar dynasty.
Amir Kabir was born in 1186 (in the Persian calendar) in Hezaveh village of Central Province in central Iran, and she was martyred in Kashan city, near Isfahan 44 years later in 1230 on such a day.
At the beginning of Naser al-Din Shah Qajar's rule, he was appointed as the Chancellor of Iran and was nicknamed Atabak Azam and Amir Kabir.
He worked 3 for years and a half and practiced fundamental reforms in the political and social structures.
The establishment of the Dar al-Funun school for teaching new knowledge and technologies to students in Tehran, the publication of the first official newspaper (Vaqaye-e Ettefaqiyeh) in Iran, managing the taxation system, and organizing the army and strengthening the military power were among Amir Kabir's services to Iran.
The enemies of Iran who could not tolerate his reforms and the advancements of the country, tempted Naser al-Din Shah to issue the order to assassinate Amir Kabir.
Finally, the order was issued and an individual, Alikhan Maraghei murdered Amir Kabir, the brilliant chancellor of the Iranian nation, at Fin Bathhouse in Kashan.
The Mirza Taghi Khan Amir Kabir's house is located in the tourist village of Hazavah and is visited as a historical building.
His house was registered in the list of national heritage of Iran.
