New York (IP)- Iran's Foreign Minister in separate meetings with his Swiss, Egyptian, and Singaporean counterparts in New York, emphasized the strengthening relations and cooperation between Iran and these countries.

Iran PressAmerica: According to Iran Press news agency, Iran's Foreign Minister Amir Abdollahian met and talked with Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh El Shokri on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly session on Wednesday evening local time.

In this meeting, there was a positive and fruitful discussion in detail about issues of mutual interest between the Islamic Republic of Iran and the Arab Republic of Egypt.

In this meeting, the two sides emphasized that according to the civilizational and historical records and cultural commonalities of the two countries and in line with common interests, it is necessary to pave the path and steps to achieve it through the continuation of the dialogue between the officials of the two countries. 

It was also emphasized in this meeting that the strengthening of relations and cooperation between the two countries will not only support the interests of the two countries but will also have positive regional effects.

Further More; Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian has announced that Iran welcomes further bilateral cooperation with Switzerland.

Amir-Abdollahian made the announcement in a meeting held in New York, US, on Wednesday local time with his Swiss counterpart Ignazio Cassis.

In the meeting, the two foreign ministers held talks on important international, regional, and bilateral issues.

Furthermore, in another Separate meeting, Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian and Singapore's Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan emphasized their interest in expanding trade and economic relations between Tehran and Singapore.

In this meeting, both sides emphasized their interest in expanding commercial and economic relations.

Referring to Iran's abundant economic capacities and commercial ports, as well as Singapore's important commercial and economic position, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Iran emphasized on using the available opportunities.
