Iran Press/ Iran news: He exchanged Eid al-Fitr greetings with the Foreign Minister of Saudi Arabia, Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud, and discussed the state of bilateral relations as well as other regional developments.
The two top diplomats called for enhancing regional and international cooperation between the two countries.
They also discussed the developments in Gaza and emphasized the need to end the Israeli war crimes and the suffering of Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank.
Separately, Iran’s foreign minister held a telephone conversation with his Iraqi counterpart Fawad Hossein and greeted each other on Eid al-Fitr.
The top Iranian diplomat also expressed his condolences to Fawad Hossein on the death of his wife.
Expanding bilateral relations as well as regional and international cooperation was the subject the two sides discussed on the phone.
Meanwhile, Amir-Abdollahian also held talks with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates, and congratulated him on Eid al-Fitr.
Iran's top diplomat expressed hope in the telephone conversation that the blessings of the holy month of Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr will help strengthen relations and cooperation between all Islamic countries.
The two foreign ministers exchanged views on bilateral relations as well as other regional developments including the ongoing Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people.
While referring to the barbaric Israeli crimes during Ramadan and even on Eid al-Fitr, Amir-Abdollahian emphasized the need for cooperation among Islamic countries to put pressure on the Israeli regime help end to the massacre of Palestinians and stop the great humanitarian catastrophe, especially in Gaza.
The Iranian and Emirati foreign ministers emphasized the continuation of contacts and consultations between the two countries.
Amir-Abdollahian and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani also spoke on the phone on Eid al-Fitr marked the end of the fasting month of Ramadan.
They congratulated each other on the occasion.
The ministers discussed regional developments including the Gaza war, with Amir-Abdollahian emphasizing the need for an immediate end to the humanitarian crisis in the Palestinian enclave.
He also expressed hope that Islamic countries make efforts and that the international community shoulders its responsibility for sending humanitarian aid to Gaza and saving people there from a looming famine.
