Geneva (IP)- Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Geneva to participate in the 55th session of the United Nations Human Rights Council.

Iran PressEurope: Iran's Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian arrived in Geneva on Monday morning at the head of a diplomatic delegation to participate in the annual meeting of the Human Rights Council and the high-level meeting of the United Nations Disarmament Conference.

Amir-Abdollahian will explain the positions and views of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding the agenda of the meetings by giving a speech at the two high-level conferences.

He will also explain the positions and views of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding Palestine and the ongoing crisis in Gaza and the West Bank by participating in the Palestine sub-meeting.

Meetings and bilateral talks with the foreign ministers of some participating countries as well as the top officials of the United Nations will be among the other plans of the Iranian foreign minister on this trip.
