New York (IP) - Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs considered the military aggression of the United States and Britain against Yemen as a strategic error that only led to the expansion of the scope of the war.

Iran PressIran News: According to Iran Press, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian wrote on the X social network (formerly Twitter): "During a speech at the United Nations Security Council meeting focusing on Palestine and the developments in West Asia, I emphasized the need to stop the crimes and genocide of the Zionists in Gaza and lift the blockade of this area in order to send relief aid immediately."

He stated: "I considered the Palestinians to be the main decision-makers regarding the future of Palestine, and by criticizing the policies of the White House in all-round support for the Zionist apartheid regime, I pointed out the important responsibility of the UN Security Council regarding this situation."

Amir-Abdollahian continued: "Also, by stating that security is an interconnected concept, I stated that the US and British military aggression against Yemen is a strategic error that only leads to the expansion of the scope of the war."
