Islamabad(IP): The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran said that very important and productive talks were held with high-ranking officials of friendly and brotherly Pakistan adding that "five new border crossings" are agreed to be added to the existing crossings within an agreed time.

Iran PressAsia: Iran's Minister of Foreign Affairs, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian after the end of the diplomatic consultations in Islamabad, told the  Iranian journalists, that the dialogue with the high-ranking officials of Pakistan aimed to continue the economic, commercial, tourism and energy cooperation between the two countries at a faster pace.

Amir-Abdollahian stated that Iran and Pakistan have agreed to add "five new border crossings" to the existing crossings within an agreed time because the borders of Iran and Pakistan are the borders of economic, commercial and tourism cooperation.

Iran's foreign minister emphasized that the borders of Pakistan and Iran should become safe borders so that terrorists do not have a place to continue terrorist activities.

Amir Abdollahian said that, unfortunately, the enemies are trying to activate terrorist outfits in the region, and during terrorist activities on the borders of Iran and Pakistan, terrorist groups are connected with the American and Israeli security services and are looking for insecurity in the region.

Iran's foreign minister emphasized that within the framework of the agreements made with the Pakistani authorities, it was decided to expand the cooperation between the two countries to fight terrorism and also to make good progress in economic, commercial, industrial, scientific, technological and energy cooperation. 219
