Iran Press/America: Polls opened across the US Tuesday morning as voters faced a stark choice between two candidates who have offered drastically different temperaments and visions for the world’s largest economy and dominant military power.
About 81 million Americans voted in person or by mail in presidential, congressional, gubernatorial, and local elections before Tuesday, more than half of all votes cast in 2020. About 159 million Americans voted in the 2020 US presidential election.
230 million Americans are qualified to vote, but only about 160 million of them are registered. However, almost half of the 50 US states allow registration on the main election day.
Donald Trump claimed that he would not only win the Electoral College votes but would also get the highest number of popular votes, even though he could not get the most public votes in the previous periods, i.e. 2016 and 2020.
Yet, with in line Trump's behavior, Harris is trying to win the votes of the American people by misusing Trump's behaviors and playing different deceptive performances for the American people.
When among the Muslim voters, Harris is talking about the end of the killing of people in Gaza and elsewhere in other states where she has the same views as the Zionists, she is talking about all-round support for the Israeli regime.
The polls show a slight superiority of Kamala Harris, the vice president of the United States and the candidate of the Democratic Party, over Donald Trump, the previous president and the candidate of the Republican.
