Iran MFA Spox:

Tehran (IP)- Iran's foreign ministry spokesman said that Albanian authorities believe Mujahedin-e-Khalq Organization (MKO) violated the 2014 agreement with the country against terrorism and cyber actions.

Iran PressIran news: The MKO has been responsible for numerous assassinations and bombings against Iranian statesmen and civilians since the Islamic Revolution in 1979. The group fled Iran in 1986 to Iraq, where they received support from former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

According to published news, on the morning of June 20, the Albanian police raided a camp belonging to the anti-Iran terrorist MKO due to its involvement in "terror and cyber attacks" against foreign institutions, said Iran's foreign ministry spokesman.

The police searched the camp based on the order of the Supreme Court, Iran's foreign ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani tweeted:"The reason for this action was the committing of criminal and terrorist acts by the group in Albania."

Albanian authorities announced the seizure of a number of electronic systems and drones that were used by MKO for their terrorist activities, the spokesman noted.

Due to their terrorist nature, Kanaani stated, the hypocrites will always be a threat to the security of their host, which is why the Iraqi government expelled them and other governments refuse to accept them.

Iran hopes that the Albanian government will make up for its mistake and will not allow the group to stay in its territory, Kanaani ended the thread.
