Iran Press/West Asia: As follows from the document, countries of the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Cooperation agreed "to consolidate efforts to mobilize international support while drafting a General Assembly joint resolution to freeze Israel’s participation in the United Nations General Assembly <…> due to its violations of the UN Charter, being a threat to international peace and security and the failure on its commitments as a UB member, as well as on the basis of the advisory opinion of the International Criminal Court of July 19, 2024."
The second emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation and the Arab League began on Monday with the presence of political officials and leaders of more than 50 Muslim countries in Riyadh.
