Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, Emir of Kuwait, has issued an Emiri decree appointing Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al Sabah as the country's Prime Minister, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

Iran Press/ West Asia: Amir Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah assigned Monday Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah as Prime Minister. the Amir, in an Amiri Order, assigned Sheikh Ahmad to form a government to submit the names of the ministers to appoint them. The  Kuwaiti Amir instructed the Prime Minister to inform the National Assembly and the order took effect once published in the official gazette. 

Under the decree, the new Kuwaiti Prime Minister has been tasked with forming a new cabinet.
