Iran Press/ West Asia: It was in the 26th minute of the game that Mehdi Taremi managed to score the first goal for Iran thanks to a pass by Sardar Azmoon. Taremi also scored the second goal for Iran in the 65th minute.
Also, a penalty kick was assigned to the UAE in the 63rd minute which Yahya al-Ghassani failed to score a goal out of it. Yet the very failed Emiratly player scored a goal for his team in the second minute of the second half's extra time.
Iran's team scored three other goals which were rejected by the VAR.
Iran will face Syria as its next rival.
