Tehran (IP) - The Head of Iran's Organization of Atomic Energy (AEOI) said that the second clinic of plasma therapy for treating wounds was opened in the country.

Iran PressIran news: The Head of Iran's Organization of Atomic Energy (AEOI), Mohammad Eslami told reporters on the sidelines of the cabinet session on Wednesday, January 3, that the clinic will have great openings for diabetic patients who are at risk of amputation.  

He said that the AEOI is expanding the clinics to provide services to the people because the introduction of nuclear technology into people's lives was one of the issues emphasized by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution. 

Eslami pointed out that the contribution of nuclear technology to people's lives has been always emphasized by Iran's Leader, adding: "The food security and health sector is the most important achievement in nuclear technology, in the process of radiation, people will use healthy food without side effects." 

AEOI head added that this improvement in health and quality can be effective for the development of the export of agricultural products and will gradually show its results. 219
