AC Milan has reached an agreement with Porto for Iranian legionnaire Mehdi Taremi.

Iran PressEurope: The Rossoneri have been among the most active teams in Europe on the transfer front, signing nine new players, but they are still in need of a new striker.

As the summer transfer market window ends on Friday evening, the management of the Rossoneri agreed to 18 million euros in the form of a purchase price of 15 million euros plus a bonus of 3 million.

In recent days, various rumors about AC Milan's negotiation have circulated, including the speculation that a Milan delegation had flown to Portugal to try to close the deal, but in reality, according to Record, this information is not accurate.

The Rossoneri have decided to focus on the 31-year-old striker to bolster Stefano Pioli’s frontline.

The Italians agreed to pay Taremi a salary of 3 million euros plus 1 million in bonuses, said the informed sources.

Taremi, 31 years old, has been playing for Porto since the summer of 2020. He has played a total of 150 matches for Porto in all competitions, scoring 80 goals and providing 49 assists. With Porto, Taremi became the champion of Portugal in the 2021/22 season, won the Portuguese Cup twice in the 2021/22 and 2022/23 seasons, and also won the Portuguese Super Cup in 2020.

Taremi has been playing for the Iranian national team since 2015. He has played a total of 69 matches for the Iranian national team, scoring 36 goals and providing 15 assists.
