Iran Press/Asia: During the three-day visit, Abdullah Abdullah, the Chairman of High Council for National Reconciliation in Afghanistan, will meet with the President Hassan Rouhani, the Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly Mohammad Bgaher Ghalibaf, the Minister of Foreign Affairs Mohammad Javad Zarif and other senior officials of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The Islamic Republic of Iran has expanding relations with Afghanistan in the political, cultural, and economic sectors, and has also supported peace led by the government and people of Afghanistan through supporting the Afghan government.
Abdullah Abdullah has previously traveled to Pakistan and India.
