Tehran (IP) - The spokesperson of the fire department and safety services of Tehran municipality stated that a huge fire had broken at Gandi Hospital and the firefighters are at the scene to contain the fire.

Iran PressIran news: At around 19:00 tonight, the fire incident at Gandhi Hospital on Valiasr Street was reported to the Tehran Fire Department, and firefighters were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Noting that the firefighting operation has started, Tehran's Fire Department Spokesman said: "Further details will be announced regarding this incident as soon as possible."

According to the initial reports, this fire was initiated on the facade of the hospital building, but in any case, additional information will be announced soon.

There have been no reports of injuries or possible deaths yet.

 

The head of the emergency department of Tehran province said that following the fire at Gandi Hospital, Tehran Emergency has been put on standby.

Also, the Deputy of Tehran Traffic Police said that Traffic police teams are present at the scene and restrictions are imposed in areas leading to this hospital.

In a telephone conversation with the Minister of Interior and the Governor of Tehran, the First Vice President, while inquiring about the latest fire incident in Tehran's Gandi Hospital, emphasized the readiness of all emergency services to deal with the incident.
