Iran Press/ Asia: Earlier, terrorists attacked the checkpost of security forces in North Waziristan, where seven officers were martyred and six terrorists were killed.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), on 17/18 March night, the Pakistani security forces conducted an intelligence-backed operation in North Waziristan District, as the presence of terrorists was reported.
During the operation, after an intense fire exchange, eight terrorists including HVT Terrorist commander Sehra Janan were killed. Sehra Janan was involved in orchestrating the terrorist attack on the Security Forces’ Post in Mir Ali on 16 March and was highly wanted by law enforcement agencies.
Cleansing operations are underway by the Pakistani armed forces to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
