Iran Press/ Europe: Germany and other countries participated in the celebration of Iran's National Day on Monday evening and congratulated "Mahmoud Farazandeh", Iran's ambassador to Germany.
In the celebration of Iran's National Day, Farazandeh pointed to the Palestine issue and the Gaza war and said: "The occupation, oppression, destruction, and killing of innocent Palestinian people in the Gaza strip is condemned and the participation of all the residents of the Palestinian land in determining their destiny is the only solution to the Palestinian issue."
Farazandeh also pointed out the principles of the foreign policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran saying:
"These principles include independence, preservation of territorial integrity, and good neighborliness."
The Iranian ambassador to Berlin stated about the progress of the Iranian nation after the victory of the Islamic Revolution:
"Iran has been able to achieve important progress in the fields of science and technology, medicine, pharmacology, nuclear, Nanotechnology, aerospace, and self-sufficiency in defense industries." 204
