Palestinian captives were handed over to the Red Cross forces following the release of 13 Israeli after leaving the Ofer prison in northern occupied Palestine.

Iran PressWest Asia: After about 50 days since the start of the "Al-Aqsa flood" operation by the Palestinian Islamic resistance movement (Hamas) against the Israeli regime, and the defeat of the occupying army in its attack on the Gaza Strip, the cabinet of the Israeli regime on Wednesday morning accepted the ceasefire agreement with the mediation of the Qatar and Egypt.

The four-day ceasefire between the Zionist regime and the Hamas movement in the Gaza Strip has been implemented since 7:00 a.m. on Friday (November 25).

 

In this regard, 13 Israeli prisoners were handed over to the Red Cross forces on Friday evening following the announcement of a temporary ceasefire agreement.

Along with these 13 captives, 11 other captives with Philippine and Thai citizenships were freed and handed over to the Red Cross forces.

Over the next four days, 150 Palestinian prisoners and 50 Israeli captives are to be freed. 219
