Tehran (IP) - The 21st International Metallurgy Exhibition, Iron and Steel, Aluminum, Casting, Machinery, and Related Industries kicked off in Tehran with the presence of 19 countries around the world.

Iran Press/Iran news: In this exhibition, more than 540 local companies and 275 foreign companies showcased their industries, equipment, and products.

In the 21st International Metallurgy Exhibition, 274 foreign companies from 19 countries, including Italy, China, Taiwan, France, UAE, Germany, India, Spain, Singapore, Austria, Sweden, Switzerland, South Africa, Japan, England, Turkey, Belgium, Oman and Brazil, are participating.

Speaking to Iran Press, Sedif Beikzadeh, CEO of Iran International Exhibitions, referred to the importance of the exhibition and said: “Due to the special role of industry and mining in the 'Seventh Development Plan' in the growth and progress of the country, industry is set to grow by 8.5 percent and mining by 13 percent, and to achieve the goal, activities within the framework of this plan must be proportionate."

The 21st International Metallurgy Exhibition is open to visitors from November 23 to 26, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
