Two terrorists were killed and two policemen injured in a clash between police and militants in Pakistan's northwest Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Monday, police sources said.

Iran PressAsia News: The counter-terrorism department (CTD) of police raided a hideout on an intelligence tip-off, which led to a shootout between the two sides, the sources from the CTD told Xinhua.

"Both the terrorists were wearing suicide bombers and they blew themselves up simultaneously after the cops blocked all their exit points from the compound," the sources said.

The injured policemen including an official were shifted to a nearby hospital and their condition is critical, the sources added.

The killed terrorists have been identified and the police took control of their compound after the operation.
