Iran Press/ Asia: H.E Reza Amiri Mughadam, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran; H.E Khazar Farhadov, the Ambassador of Azerbaijan, His Excellency Azhar Mazlan, the High Commission of Malaysia, the Ambassador of Thailand H.E Chakrrid Krachaiwong and other distinguished guest jointly inaugurated the Expo.
The public in masses visited the Expo and showed deep interest in different tourist destinations.
Different touring operators, flight operators, and hotels occasionally displayed their offers and packages. In contrast, countries like the Islamic Republic of Iran, Azerbaijan, Thailand, and Kazakhstan also placed their information desks to answer visitors' questions. The foreign missions displayed artwork and books about the tourist resorts and destinations while different universities and real estate groups were also present.
The Iranian stall was the most visited and liked.
Director General (DG) of Khana-e Farhang Iran, Mr. Faramarz Rehmanzad, accompanied by his colleagues and staff, briefed the visitors regarding the travel plans and worthy tourist destinations of the Islamic Republic of Iran. The visitors also showed great interest in the Persian handicrafts, especially the enamel work from Isfahan. Different books about Iran's tourism were also placed to attract visitors, and a documentary was also played for the visitors' information.
