Isfahan (IP) - The inaugural international conference on nuclear science and technology, alongside the 30th national nuclear conference of Iran, has just begun in Isfahan.

Iran PressIran news: Karimi Sabet, the head of the Iran Nuclear Association and the conference's secretary, highlighted the challenges facing humanity, emphasizing that global responses are imperative.

He noted that international conferences serve as a valuable platform for addressing these issues.

Sabet further emphasized that nuclear technology holds the potential to address many of these challenges, with projections indicating that nuclear electricity production will triple by 2025.

The Secretary of the First International Atomic Energy Conference underscored Iran's commitment to generating 20,000 megawatts of nuclear power and its strategic focus on advancing nuclear technology.
