The 17th Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) opened in Moscow with the participation of senior parliamentary officials from the Eurasian countries.

Iran Press/Europe: According to a report by Iran Press News Agency from Moscow, the 17th Parliamentary Assembly of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) opened in Moscow with the participation of the heads of parliaments of the CSTO member states, including Russia, Belarus, Tajikistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Armenia.
The Islamic Republic of Iran is participating in this annual meeting as a special guest.

The delegation of Iran's parliament, consisting of Abbas Moqtadaei, Deputy Chairman of the National Security and Foreign Policy Commission, and Abbas Goodarzi, a member of the Presidium of the Parliament and the Iran-Russia Parliamentary Friendship Group, traveled to Moscow at the invitation of the Russian State Duma to participate in the annual meeting of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly and hold bilateral talks with Russian parliamentary officials.
