Iran Press/ Asia: The 16th ECO Summit convened on November 9, 2023, in Tashkent, the capital city of Uzbekistan. A member of the organization since November 1992, independent Uzbekistan will host for the first time a multilateral summit within the framework of ECO. In 2022, Uzbekistan chaired the ECO for the first time.
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi arrived in the Uzbek capital of Tashkent on Thursday morning to attend the 16th summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO).
