Moscow (IP) - Iranian and Russian automobile companies signed 12 cooperation agreements worth 700 million euros.

Iran PressEurope: On the third day of the MIMS Automobility Moscow 2022, cooperation agreements to establish a production line of Hi-Tech Auto Parts, export of spare parts using the powder metallurgy method, as well as a cooperation agreement between SAIPA Megamotor Company and Russian parties with a total value of 700 million Euro was signed.

Kazem Jalali, Iran's ambassador to Russia, said: "If these agreements are implemented, in the first step, Iran will benefit more than 700 million euros."

Jalali added: "Iran's exports to Russia were about one billion dollars in the last year, most of which were agricultural products, vegetables and citrus, but technological and industrial exports will also be included with these agremments." 

Referring to the difficulties of money transfer between Iran and Russia, the diplomat noted: "The first transfer of Rubles and Rials between the two countries was made yesterday, and monetary transaction channels were established."

The ambassador also said: "Good talks are being held between the two countries in transit infrastructure so that measures are being implemented in the fields of sea and shipping, train and rail, and road."

The Russian Automobile Exhibition kicked off on  August 22 and will last until 25 at the Moscow International Exhibition Center (Expo Center) with the presence of about 600 companies from 18 countries.
