Iran Press/Iran News: In response to what some say Iran may forget about its retaliation, a military adviser to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei and former Iranian Defense Minister, Hossein Dehghan, said on Tuesday night that it is natural that they are worried about Iran's reaction, but they should just wait and see.
“The United States will receive a crushing response from the Iranian nation and all freedom-seekers in the world to be an example,” he added.
Elaborating on the reason behind Iran’s response to the recent US terrorist attack on the Iranian commander, Dehghan said: “If America's crimes are not answered, we have to worry every day and everywhere.”
The Commander of Quds Force of Iran’s Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) Lieutenant-General Qasem Soleimani and 8 of his companions including the second-in-command of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Units (PMU) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis were assassinated by the US drones in Baghdad, Iraq's capital in the early hours of Friday morning 3 January 2020.
