According to Oleg Ignasyuk, deputy chief of the Russian Center for Reconciliation of the Opposing Parties in Syria (a division of the Russian defense ministry) the US-led coalition's aircraft violated Syrian airspace fourteen times during the past day,

Iran Press/West Asia: "Aircraft from the so-called international anti-terrorist coalition led by the United States continue to create dangerous situations that may lead to air accidents or incidents and escalate tensions in Syria's airspace," he stated. "A pair of the coalition’s F-15 fighter jets made five incursions, while a pair of A-10 Thunderbolt attack bombers violated Syria’s airspace in the al-Tanf area, which is traversed by international air routes, fourteen times throughout the day."

In addition, he reported three violations of the deconfliction protocols established on December 9, 2019, related to flights by unmanned aerial vehicles operated by the US-led coalition.

Ignasyuk also mentioned that the Russian reconciliation center conducted one humanitarian operation in the settlement of Hadar in the al-Quneitra governorate, distributing 5.9 tons of food among its residents.

"Over the past day, as many as 3,990 people crossed Syria’s border from Lebanon via the checkpoints of Al-Arida, Al-Jawasiyeh, Al-Dabousiyah, Jisr Qamar, and Jdaidet Yabous," Ignasyuk reported.

As part of implementing the Russian-Turkish memorandum of understanding from October 22, 2019, Russian military police units are conducting joint patrols in the Raqqa and al-Hassakah governorates.

He also noted that Syrian government troops thwarted an attempted infiltration of their positions near Kafer Ruma in the Idlib governorate by a sabotage and reconnaissance group from illegal armed units. The terrorists were repelled and retreated, sustaining losses.
