Iran Press/ Iran news: The ceremonies of the birth anniversary of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (peace be upon her), sister of Imam Reza (PBUH), and also 'Ten days of Dignity' began on Thursday at her holy Shrine in the city of Qom.
According to Iran Press, the ceremony was attended by many followers of the Holy Ahlul Bayt (peace be upon them) and the sermon speech was held in the presence of the head of Astaan Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (PBUH) Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Saeedi, the custodian of Astan Quds Razavi, Hojjatoleslam Ahmad Marvi and many other religious scholars in the holy shrine of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (peace be upon her).
The ten-day period between the auspicious birthday anniversaries of Hazrat Fatemeh Masoumeh (peace be upon her) and Imam Ali Ebne Musa Al-Reza (peace be upon him) has been designated as 'ten days of dignity'. This year it falls between 4th and 14th of July 2019.
Special ceremonies and events are planned and held in many Iranian towns and cities during this ten-day period.
