Iran Press/Iran news: In the visit which took place on Saturday right after attending the session of Disaster Management Taskforce of Lorestan Province, Hassan Rouhani was briefed by local officials on the relief process.
He also had cordial meetings with the people of the area and listened to their problems and concerns, issuing the necessary instructions for resolving their problems, Iran Press reported.
The city of 'Pol-e-Dokhtar' in Lorestan province experienced some of the heaviest rains and flooding to hit the country. All connecting roads to the area have been cut off and aid packages have been sent to Pol-e-Dokhtar by helicopters.
Furthermore, Iran's Armed Forces including the Army and the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) have used all their equipment to help the people in Pol-e-Dokhtar whose lives have been affected by the floods. 101/202
