Switzerland (IP) - Iran's foreign minister arrived in Switzerland on Tuesday evening to participate in the World Economic Forum or Davos forum.

Iran PressEurope: As the Islamic Republic of Iran was invited to participate in the programs of the 2024 Davos forum, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian will also have meetings with his counterparts and high officials of different countries participating in the summit. 

Bilateral, regional, and international topics of interest will be discussed in the meetings of the Iranian FM with the officials of other countries.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is an international non-governmental organization for public–private sector collaboration.

The foundation's stated mission is "improving the state of the world by engaging business, political, academic, and other leaders of society to shape global, regional, and industry agendas."

The WEF is mostly known for its annual meeting at the end of January in Davos, a mountain resort in the eastern Alps region of Switzerland.
