Iran Press/Europe: The meeting was chaired by Dimitry Falkov, Russia's Minister of Science and Higher Education, where the heads of the participating countries' delegations explained their scientific and innovative priorities for the shore-up of the relevant cooperation.
Ahadzadeh, the Iranian representative, considered cooperation in nanotechnology, biotechnology, energy including renewables, water, marine economy, food security, artificial intelligence, and digital economy, the issues on the priority of Iran for cooperation with BRICS.
He expressed Iran's readiness to host the next specialized meetings of BRICS while inviting the member states to participate in Iran Nano Expo 2024.
Representatives of Iran, China, Russia, India, Brazil, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Ethiopia participated in the meeting and signed a joint final statement.
The 12th round of the BRICS ministerial meetings was held in Russia and on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly Meeting in New York, US.
