Iran Press/ West Asia: Ali-al-Qahoum said in an interview with the Russian news agency Ria Novosti that the response to the assassination of Ismail Haniyeh, the head of the Hamas political bureau, is not limited to Iran alone and that the response would come from all of the Resistance Axis' countries.
Earlier, Seyed Abdul Malik Badr ul-Din al-Houthi, the leader of Yemen's Ansarullah Movement, emphasized on Thursday evening the martyrdom of leaders has always had a great impact on the resistance members' motivation to continue the fight against the Israeli regime and its supporters.
He emphasized: "Martyr Haniyeh had a major and outstanding contribution in serving the just and holy of the Palestinian cause and the liberation of Palestine and Al-Aqsa Mosque."
Ismail Haniyeh, the head of Hamas's political bureau, was martyred on Wednesday early morning, July 31, 2024. Earlier on Tuesday he came to Tehran to attend the inauguration ceremony of President Masoud Pezeshkian.
He was attacked at a residence in Tehran using an “airborne guided projectile,”
After the martyrdom of Ismail Haniyeh, senior officials of the resistance axis announced that they would avenge the blood of this martyr from the Zionist regime.
