Lebanese President in his meeting with British Army Chief said that It is our right to defend ourselves against any Israeli assault.

Iran Press/Middle East: Michel Aoun also told Nicholas Carter on Thursday that Lebanon was committed to U.N. Security Council Resolution 1701, which ended the 2006 war between Israel and Hezbollah, and maintaining calm and stability on the southern border “despite continuous Israeli land, air and maritime violations.”

 

The head of the British army, Gen. Nick Carter, emphasized the U.K.’s continuous support for Lebanon’s government and Army, The Daily Star reported.

Israeli drones and fighter jets have routinely violated Lebanon's airspace for many years, even decades, carrying out reconnaissance and spying missions virtually every week.

Lebanon has protested many times against repeated violations of its airspace by the Israeli air force, raising the issue at the United Nations on numerous occasions. 104
