Yemenis staged a mass protest rally against the three-year-old Saudi-led war against the impoverished country, specialty recent coalition’s offensive on the Yemeni port city of Al Hodeidah.

The demonstrators, carrying banners and Yemeni flags, took to the streets of the capital city of Taiz  on Tuesday  and shout slogans like "No invasion, no occupation, the coast is everyone's responsibility"

Residents of Taiz called for the end of Saudi aggression against key port city of Al Hodeidah, stressing that the invaders seek to dominate Yemen.

Vowing to defend their country against Riyadh's war machine they also condemn Saudi strikes on a wedding party in Saada Province.

The demonstrators called on the United Nations to shoulder its responsibility to protect the civilians and ensure the delivery of humanitarian assistance to them.

They voiced their support to the Yemeni army and popular committees in their battle against the Saudi invaders and their agents.

Saudi jets on Tuesday hit a wedding ceremony in Ghafira area of Dhaher district in Sa'ada, killing and injuring 22 civilians.

The coalition has consistently shown flagrant disregard for the lives of civilians in Yemen. A similar wedding massacre in a small village in Hajjah in April of this year killed 23 people, including the bride.

The Saudi coalition continues its target of civilian sites, vital facilities and infrastructure in its war on Yemen.

Since the outbreak of the war, several civilians have been injured or killed by shells and rockets. Many families have fled away. Those who are unable to leave can only stay at home.

Yemeni civilians are also struggling to stay alive amid fierce ground and air attacks by Saudi-led coalition on Yemen port of Hodeidah.

The Saudi-led coalition attacks against the densely-populated city and the war-torn country’s most vital port was launched despite numerous warnings by the international community and prominent aid groups.

No one from US administration ever says anything about the numerous documented war crimes committed by the Saudis and Emiratis against innocent civilians in Yemen. The U.S. simply ignores the evidence of coalition war crimes in order to continue providing military assistance to them, and the result is that hundreds and thousands of Yemeni civilians are killed with our help.
