Having met with Iran's ambassador to Iraq Iraj Masjedi, Cardinal Louis Raphaël I Sako said that Iran plays a key role in bringing together different political groups in Iraq to form the country's future government.
Noting that wars and conflicts bode for nothing but devastation, he said that regional problems will be solved only through collective efforts of all the regional countries.
Meanwhile, the Iranian ambassador, expressed readiness on behalf of the Iranian government to cooperate with all the religious and ethnic minorities in Iraq and the whole region.
Masjedi said that Iran wants all the followers of different religions to live together in peace.
