In a ceremony in the holy city of Qom, an American philosopher who lives and teaches in Iran was honored.

Iran Press/Iran News: An American professor and philosopher who teaches at the Imam Khomeini Education and Research Institute, Gary Carl (Muhammad) Legenhausen has been honored in a special ceremony in the holy city of Qom, Iran Press reported, quoting Shafaqna news agency.  

At the ceremony, Parviz Davoudi a member of Expediency Council, Ayatollah Mesbah Yazdi, Head of Research Institute for Islamic Culture and Thought, Hojjatoleslam Sadeghi Rashad, Judicial Cultural Deputy, Hojjatoleslam Hadi Sadeghi, and the Head of Elite Foundation of Qom province also participated in the ceremony.

Professor, Legenhausen also received a letter of commendation from the Elite National Foundation for his works in the Islamic sciences and philosophy.

Also at the ceremony, Dr. Legenhausen's collected published articles and essays, named  "Humble Philosopher" was unveiled.   212/211/103
