Iran's Foreign Minister said that President's visit to Iraq has opened many nodes.

Iran Press/Iran news: Mohammad Javad Zarif made the remarks in his visit to Qom city on Monday.

Calling Iranian President Hassan Rouhani's visit to Baghdad as very constructive, Iran's Foreign Minister said: "Many unfinished issues between Iran and Iraq have been solved by the visit," Iran Press reported.

"Lifting the visa fees between the two countries, and the agreements between Iran and Iraq for dredging of Arvand River were among the achievements of Rouhani's visit to Baghdad," Zarif noted.

Iran's Foreign Minister also said that dredging of Arvand River were among some plans which were left undone for many years. 

President Rouhani traveled to Iraq for an official three-day visit on 11 March, at the official invitation of his Iraqi counterpart, Barham Salih and Prime Minister Adil Abdul-Mahdi holding talks with his Iraqi counterpart, also speaker of the Iraqi parliament, and other senior Iraqi officials. 101/201/213
