Iranian, Swedish Foreign Ministers talk over the phone

Iran's foreign minister discussed ways of boosting bilateral ties with his Swedish counterpart on the phone.

Iran Press/Iran news: Iranian foreign minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Swedish counterpart Margot Wallstrom discussed strengthening of bilateral ties and the latest regional and international developments on Monday.

During a telephone conversation, the two foreign ministers conferred on a number of consular and humanitarian issues as well as ways of boosting ties between the two countries, Iran Press reported citing Mehr News Agency. 

 

Iran's foreign minister and his Swedish counterpart met in Geneva on Wednesday,  29 November 2018.

Earlier on November 29, Iran's foreign minister and his Swedish counterpart met in Geneva and discussed regional issues and peace talks in Yemen.

Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif and his Swedish counterpart Margot Wallstrom also exchanged views on international issues and priority of human rights dialogue instead of selective measures in international organizations as well as other issues of mutual interest.

The two diplomats also underlined the necessity to continue contacts on different bilateral, regional and international issues. 104/211/203.
